This is the final video in a series of live in-studio performances of solo guitar pieces we shot with Reel AMR.
We shot this live video for The Ever After song Unity in the studio at the end of 2016. Guitar, Vocals and 2 Cameras. Simplicity itself. Big thanks to Abrahamercado Ramos at Reel AMR for putting it all together.
Here is wishing you all a very happy and prosperous New Year! The Ever After is looking forward to a busy year. We have a new website in the works, a brand new album ready to be recorded and an eventful concert season being planned. We hope you are excited as we are and we look forward to helping make 2017 a memorable year for music!
The first album recorded as The Ever After called Oh Dear! from 2009 has recently been re-released on CD Baby. It’s 9 songs of original acoustic music with elements of blues, folk, bossa and classical. It was entirely self-funded and independently released – in fact Andreas did all the recording, mixing and mastering himself (which was probably not a good idea, in retrospect 🙂 ) It’s a piece of TEA history though and you can check it out here.
Andreas is excited to be taking part in his 5th session this fall at the Depanneur Cafe. He is currently working on his new set list of TEA songs and other assorted goodies for the affair. Tuesdays at 11am. On se voit la!
Some shows coming up for The Ever After. Come out and enjoy the sweet sounds of summer.
Thursday, Aug 11th at Piranha Bar in Montreal
More dates on the way…
We are happy to say we will be continuing our winter residency at Le Depanneur Cafe for the spring session. The Ever After will still be playing every Friday but now we will be playing the brunch shift at 10am. And yes that IS 4am in musician hours!
The Ever After is going to play a set on Friday Jan 14th at 1pm at Le Depanneur Cafe (206 Bernard St West) as part of the KickDrum Winter Marathon which is going on from Thurs Jan 14th to Sat Jan 16th. You can check out more about the event on Facebook and also check out more about KickDrum here.
We love to see that people are out trying to make things happen on these long cold winter days. Good on you!
Andreas is excited to be playing another residency at Le Depanneur Cafe (206 rue Bernard West)! Starting in December and going through February he will be playing an hour set every Friday at 1pm. If you like relaxed acoustic music in a warm environment with good food and drink then you should come by some Friday and check out his set.
